Services suspended

A message from the Rector

Dear Friends,

Yesterday evening (17th March 2020) we received a new directive form the Archbishop of Dublin informing us that in the best interest of public health, all church services will be suspended until further notice.

This is regrettable but inevitable in the current circumstances. In times of crisis we need to pray more, not less and so I am hoping to broadcast a daily Morning Prayer service through the Facebook Live platform on our parish page each day at 10.30 am, starting today.

I invite you to join me if you can. We are still hoping to have a webcam installed as soon as possible which will mean that services can be streamed online through our website, not just Facebook. I will keep you posted on developments.

The Church of Ireland website has a daily prayer service you can use yourselves and a Daily Worship App that can be downloaded to your smartphone or device.

Don’t forget to let me know if you need any assistance with shopping etc, and also if any of you find yourselves in severe financial hardship due to loss of income, contact me in complete confidence.

In the event of a pastoral emergency please contact me by phone on 087 9091561.

Stay safe and God bless x

Lesley
