Our major fundraiser, Who Wants to be a Thousandaire?, takes place at 8pm on 25th May in Clontarf Castle
Tickets are now available, priced €20 or four for €60.
All parishioners are being asking to support the event. The night promises to be great fun with nine lucky contestants each having the chance to win up to €1,000.
Here’s some answers to a few questions you may have in advance!
Who gets to compete for the money?
Nine names will be drawn from the among the audience members on the night. There’ll also be some fun with spot prizes.
What if I buy a ticket but can’t attend?
You can nominate someone to play for you if your ticket is drawn.
What if I’m there but don’t want to go up to answer questions?
You can nominate someone who is with you, or the committee can nominate someone to play on your behalf. All these options are available on the ticket stubs.
Are there Life Lines, like in the TV show?
Yes, contestants nominate their Phone a Friend person who is brought to another room for that round of questions; Ask the Audience is done by a show of hands; and 50:50 knocks out 2 incorrect answers.
Where should I be on May 25?
Clontarf Castle!
